Michael A. Gordon – Executive Director
Michael has been with Sunset House since 2000, and was the guiding force behind the transition from halfway house to state-licensed residential treatment facility that occurred in 2001. Since that time, he has overseen numerous improvements to the Sunset House program that include increased fundraising efforts, expansion of clinical services, and facility upgrades. Michael maintains contact with supporters, donors, and alumni both in the local area and throughout the country to continually improve the Sunset House Program. With over 15 years of experience in the non-profit business sector, he is well equipped to manage such a unique institution.

Bridgette S. Hampton, MD. - Medical Director
Dr. Hampton received her medical degree from University of Oklahoma, College of Medicine. She did her undergraduate training at University of Oklahoma in Norman Oklahoma. There she graduated with Honors in Microbiology. Dr. Hampton completed her Internship and residency in Internal Medicine at University Of Missouri at Kansas City in 1995. She has practiced here in Palm Beach County since then. Dr. Hampton was Board Certified in 2007, She is licensed in the state of Florida as a medical doctor. Over the years she has integrated some holistic modes of treatment with the traditional allopathic methods. She believes the doctor should help guide the patient to best treatment options and looks forward of being of service to her patients.
Bridget Heady, LMHC - Clinical Director
Over the last decade, Bridget has worked with organizations to achieve the highest standards of service and quality assurance within the field. Bridget received a BS in Psychology and a MS in Mental Health Counseling from Nova Southeastern University. In 2012, Bridget became a Licensed Mental Health Counselor and has continued to maintain her certifications.
Matthew Snyder, MSW - Program Director
Matthew has dedicated his time to our client's at Sunset House in developing useful tools for long term sobriety. Matthew has extensive background in substance abuse counseling and family therapy. He brings a unique set of tools as a clinician in fulfilling his role as program director. Matthew is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker Intern with the Board of Mental Health and is a Certified Cognitive Behavioral Therapist. Matthew is currently a board member for professional development at FAU Phyllis & Harvey Sandler School of Social Work. Matthew utilizes out of the box treatment modalities to address substance abuse issues, which include; sand-tray therapy, experiential therapies, and evidence based practices.
Jeffery Jaskiel, CRRA– Operations Director
Jeffery has dedicated his efforts to Sunset House in aiding day-to-day operations between staff, peers, and other services contributing to our cause. Jeffery has three years of experience in helping others triumph through recovery, and has been a resource to new clients in our program. Jeffery’s help has connected our organization to other organizations eager to support us. Jeffery is currently studying Science to help himself contribute to helping others find ways to live a productive sober lifestyle.
Lindsey Duncan, LHMC - Primary Therapist
Lindsey joined the Sunset House team after completing her Master’s in Mental Health Counseling at Nova Southeastern University.
Michael Gans, LCSW - Individual Therapist
For the last decade, Michael has worked with various behavioral health organizations to provide counseling, rehabilitation, and support to clients. Michael’s clinical background encompass a wide variety of techniques including acceptance and commitment therapy, EMDR therapy, logotherapy, narrative therapy, as well as work with trauma and the transference of trauma. Michael is a licensed clinical social worker and holds a Master’s in Social Work from Barry University as well as PhD. D in Holocaust Studies from the University of Haifa.
